Bachman (Bull), Yvette Joyce
Age 85, peacefully passed away with her loving family by her side on Thursday, December 8, 2022. Yvette was preceded in death by her husband of 66 ½ years, Gerald L. Bachman "Jerry" on Saturday, December 3, 2022. She was the loving mother and grandmother to Deb (Milt) Rehberg, Steve (Tammy) Bachman, Pam (Pat) O'Brien; grandchildren, Justin (Julie) Franks, Brian Franks, Brad Bachman, Emily (Adam) Klavon, Kyle O'Brien, Kaitlyn O'Brien, and Nolan O'Brien; and seven great grandchildren. Yvette was one of five children to Donald and Clarice Bull, she is survived by her brother Bob (Vera) Bull of Midland. Granddaughter Melissa Ann Franks preceded her in death in 2013.
Yvette owned McKenzie Printing-Bridal Boutique where she enjoyed 30 years of bridal consulting. Outside of her daily work, she enjoyed helping her family and others through her membership at Gethsemane United Brethren Church, mentoring at Northwest Elementary Schools, and volunteering at Foote Memorial Hospital. There was nothing that Yvette would not tackle, she created beautiful flower arrangements, refinished furniture, self taught herself in hairdressing skills, volunteered, and party planned to name a few.
Those who knew her best knew that she loved music, animals, and all that life had to offer. Her family and friends being her top priority. She enjoyed her card groups, bowling, and being a member of the church choir. She equally enjoyed being at home sewing, gardening, spending time with her grandkids (decorating Christmas cookies), and spending time in her pool or wintering in Florida near the beach.
Funeral Services for Jerry and Yvette will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 743 W. Michigan Avenue, Jackson, with Pastor John Beardslee officiating. A private interment will be held at Fifield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, December 11 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 12 at the Church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
