William A. Mcfarland

Bill passed peacefully at home on Thursday, December 6, 2018. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Robert F. and Mary G. (Haines) McFarland who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Judy; daughters, Corrina Romine and Michelle (Trevor) Feazel; son, Chad (Ivy) Romine; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Marilyn) McFarland; sister, MaryAnn (Robert) Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a longtime resident of Dexter and current resident of Jackson. He was a long time building contractor in Ann Arbor and surrounding area and a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed the challenge of hunting, fishing, or building something for one of his grandchildren. He was a member of the Ann Arbor Eagles and Luzerne American Legion.

He was very loved and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Kyle Herrick officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

Contributions may be made to the Ann Arbor VA Hospital or Great Lake Caring Hospice.
