William Dennis Karl

William Dennis Karl, 44, of Lansing, MI died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Bill was born on September 13, 1977 in Detroit, MI. He was a graduate of Lumen Christi HS where he participated in football and wrestling. He later coached wrestling at Jackson Catholic Middle School.

He is survived by wife Jessica Tharia Karl, son Anton Karl and step children David, Jenna, Micah, Caleb and Sofia Tharia. Bill is also survived by his parents Dennis and Sue Karl, siblings Denise (Jason) Smith, David Karl and Anita Karl. He was preceded in death by his brothers Armand Karl and Gregory Karl.

Bill was the Manager of Countryside Village. He was an ardent fan of the University of Michigan football team.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 E Wesley St, Jackson, MI 49201 at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 4, 2021 with Father Tim Nelson officiating.  Interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Desnoyer Funeral Home in Jackson, MI at 204 N. Blackstone, Jackson, MI 49201 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 3 and on Saturday, December 4 at St. Mary's Church from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Vincent Catholic Charities, 2800 West Willow Street, Lansing, MI 48917 would be appreciated.
