Evans, William Wallace "Bill"
Age 77 passed away suddenly on August 20, 2010. He was born April 16, 1933 and is survived by his loving wife Marcella; three children Suzan (David) Kaminski, Richard (Michelle) Evans, Karen (Robert) Caprara; Nine grandchildren, Jennifer Leone, Marcella and Alexander Caprara, Madeline and Jacqueline Kaminski, Cameron, Trevor, Andrew and Gabrielle Evans; many wonderful extended family and friends. Bill enlisted into the Air National Guard at the age of 16 as an Apprentice Clerk and achieved the rank of Airman Second Class. Bill was employed with Ford Motor Company for 39 years and enjoyed 14 years of retirement. Bill was a member of the American Legion and the Yankee Air force Museum. Bill found love in aviation, world history and most of all, his family. Visitation will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1 to 8 PM with the Vigil service at 7 PM. Viewing also at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Wednesday from 9 AM to 10 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Rev. Cecilio Reyna officiating. Cremation to follow the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
