Bill was born on January 19th, 1954 in Kane, IL. Bill was a Vietnam veteran and was always proud that he took the ultimate sacrifice to serve America. With over 30 years of Active and Reserve time, he was committed to his duty as a Sargent (E5) with the United States Army. He loved his Jeeps (especially that red Cherokee), playing Keno and pull tabs, and basically anything to do with guns (excellent gun repairman).
He was a longtime member of the American Legion (Posts #29 and #324) and was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He served the community in Jackson and always knew someone for the job (if he didn't already know how to do it himself). He was a general contractor of his own business, Eagle General Building Maintenance, where he even took Chance under his wing and taught him almost everything he knew with electrical work and housing maintenance. He was also a faithful Catholic man in life.
