Anderson Willard J.
of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pauline G. Anderson; six children, Deana (Ron) Thompson, Susan (Melvin), Jim (Joyce) Anderson, Bill (Debbie) Anderson, Christi (Mike) O'Reilly and Karey (Tim) Collins; Grandchildren, Tim, Amanda (James) O'Keefe, Jessica (Brandon) Casler, Christina, Abbey (Kurt) Schanz, Shay, Cameron, Austen, Brayden and Taylor; one great grandson, Xander; one sister, Joyce (Roger) Musser; one brother, Marland Anderson. Willard was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Anderson was a Army Veteran of the Korean war and retired as owner and operator of Ace Hardware in Vandercook after many years of service.

A celebration of his life will take place on Monday at 1:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ 801 S. Mechanic St, with Pastor Jay Cummings officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 and at the church on Monday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Draper Cemetery at 4:00 PM
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America, Allegiance Hospice Home or St. John's United Church of Christ would be appreciated.
