Walter William Danilowicz

Of Jackson passed away at home on Saturday, July 5, 2014 with his wife of 59 years Virginia Danilowicz (Wojick) at his side. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bertha Danilowicz, four brothers and four sisters.

Walt retired from the Michigan Department of State Industries. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a trapper, fisherman and a member of St. Mary's Parish. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Richard Eberle O.S.F.S. officiating. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM.
