Pienta, Vivienne J.
Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility on Monday, October 13, 2014 age 90 years.
She was Preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; son, Thomas; daughter, Patricia Pletcher; son in law Harry Pletcher, four grandchildren and her brothers, Harold and Charles Holzworth. She is survived by four children; Michael (Teresa) Pienta, Phillip (Linda) Pienta, John (Cathy) Pienta and Reverend Robert Pienta. Eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister; Jim (Judith) Holzworth, Jean (Casmir) Walczak, and George (Arlene) Holzworth. Vivienne was a Graduate of St. Mary High School, class of 1942, a member of the Amaranth Club and St. John's Widow's Club. She was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Mrs. Pienta is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with her son, Father Robert Pienta officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery on Friday at 2:00 PM.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM and on Thursday from 2 to 8 PM with a Vigil Service at 6:30 PM.
