Danilowicz, Virginia J.


of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the age of 86 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Walter. She is survived by special nieces, Bonnie Cummings and Linda (Don) Mroz and special nephews, Vern Faber and Mark (Pam) Mastrangelo; beloved Godchildren, Bob (Donna) Pence, Christy (Steve) Williams, and Augustus Giglio; numerous great nieces and nephews, Rob and Amanda Pence; Stephanie, Matthew, Michael, and Bobby Williams; Darlene Smith; Gina ( Chris) Norton; Kyle and Ryan Norton; Tanya Neeley; and Cindy (Chris) Hils. Preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Wojcik; sisters, Sophie Smith, Jean Pence, Susie Faber, and Genevieve Mastrangelo; and nieces and nephews, Bill Smith, Sherry Jennings, Brian Smith, and Candice Cummings.

Virginia was a long time member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. She devoted her life to her husband and extended family. Aunt Honey will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Monday, July 20 at 10:00 AM with Father Richard Eberle O.S.F.S. as the celebrant. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19 from 6–8 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church, prior to the Mass, from 9:30–10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenleaf Care Home or to the Allegiance Hospice Home.
