Omilian, Violet Michaeline "Baci"
of Jackson, formerly of Detroit, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the age of 92 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony and her son, Dennis. She is survived by one daughter, Lei Lani Tacia; two grandchildren, Angelique Tacia and Brandon Tacia; one brother, Norman Czarnomski; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank, Dr. Halsey and the staff at Arbor North, especially Kim, Patty and Debbie, for the loving care of our mom and grandma. Baci will be missed by her family and her Arbor North family.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. The family will also receive friends at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Thursday from 10-10:30 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Reverend Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant. A private interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lumen Christi High School or the Cascades Humane Society.
