Louagie, Victor C.

Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 on his 76th brithday.  He was under the loving care of the staff at the Henry Ford Jackson Hospital.  Victor is survived by his daughter, Meagan; brother and sisters, Mary Lu (Bill) Pauwels, Margie Heavy, Dick Louagie, and Linda (Steve) McIntosh; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his paretns, Dorothy and Victor Louagie; brothers, Tom, Robert, and Jerry; and good buddy, Stuart Leigh.

Victor graduated from Jackson High School and retired from the Jackson County Medical Care Facility.  He loved all sports.  He enjoyed watching all of the State of Michigan Sports, especially U of M, Lions, and Tigers, and attended his nieces and nephews sporting events.  Victor loved his family dearly, especially his daughter, Meagan.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.

The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
