Dutton (Jackson) (Depew), Verdner

Formerly of North Tonawanda, New York entered into rest January 9, 2021 in Jackson, Michigan. Verdner married Ernest M. Depew Jr in 1962. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her long time friend James Willmouth of Detroit, MI; her son, Steven (Pamela) Depew of Jackson, MI; daughter, Debora Derrick of North Tonawanda, NY; sister, Gail (Frank) Marriott of Zephyrhills, Florida; brother, Sherman (Gloria) Gage of Bolivar, NY; three grandchildren, Steven (Jackie) Depew of Adrian, MI, Josh Depew of Maumee, OH, and Elizabeth Depew of Jackson, MI; great-grandchildren, Emma and Ava Depew; three nieces, Kim (Rich) Ingersoll, Michele (Martin) Marriott, and Rebecca (Jason) Lassman; along with many great nieces and nephews.

By no fault of her own, Verdner became missing in 1975. By a miracle of God, she was found by her children 33 years later, in Detroit, MI. The family feels blessed they were able to be a part of the last 12 years of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Cremation has taken place. Family gathering and burial of her ashes will take place in the summer.
