Davidowicz, Valda Marie
Of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 age 80 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Leo. Survived by her daughter Jo Lee (David) Coleman and her son Robert (Katina) Davidowicz. Three grandchildren; Lauren, Megan and Caeli. Two brothers; Dale Grettenberger and Charles (Linda) Grettenberger. One sister; Evelyn (Gerald) Horstman. Several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Doris Kramer.

Valda retired from Foote Hospital as a Medical Technician. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Stockbridge Stompers, the 2nd Calvary Association and was a St. Joseph Church Youth Group Leader. She enjoyed camping, gardening, her dog Teddy, the breakfast Club at Burger King and her granddaughters.

Mrs. Davidowicz is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

Contributions to St. Joseph Church or the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Scripture Service Sunday at 6 PM.
