Timothy "Tim" Michael Cagney

Tim passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 after a courageous battle with many years of poor health. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Mary, his sister Mary Lynn McKee, sisters-in-law Paula Cagney and Teresa Brazee, nieces and nephews Reenie (Tommy) Hesslau, Patrick McKee, Megan Cagney, Shana Cagney, John Cagney, Brennan (Chris) Cagney, Erin Cagney, Stephanie Brazee Benoit and Ron (Sherry) Brazee and four great-nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Walter and Margaret (LeMiere) Cagney and his brother Jim.

Tim was a graduate of St. John's, class of 1966. He worked at Jackson Drop Forge for 30 years and retired from the Vandercook Lake Shell station. He was very proud of his French and Irish heritage. Cooking, painting animals, fast cars, cheering on his favorite NASCAR driver Kyle Busch and following NOTRE DAME and MICHIGAN football would always put a smile on his face. He treasured his special friendships with Nancy Neilson, Bill Baker, Jim Brazee and Tyler Resor.

The family would like to thank Dr. Rajendra Mehta, Dr. Brad Bivens and the staffs at Allegiance Health and RidgeCrest Health Center for the wonderful care you provided him.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Church, celebrating Tim's life on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Father Tim MacDonald will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jackson Interfaith Shelter, St. John's or Queen's school would be appreciated.
