Coppernoll, Timothy J.

Age 60, of Spring Arbor, passed away due to an illness at his home on Monday, January 1, 2018. Tim was born on August 10, 1957 to Gerald and Eleanor (Shearer) Coppernoll. He was raised in Spring Arbor where he lived his entire life. Tim attended Western High School and graduated in 1975. A talented draftsman, Tim was immediately hired by Consumer's Energy. He advanced within the company before retiring in 2015 after 40 years of service. Tim was a talented artist and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and watching football.

Tim is survived by his parents, Gerald and Eleanor (Shearer) Coppernoll of Spring Arbor; children, Cristy Coppernoll and Dustin Coppernoll of Jackson and Nicholas Coppernoll and Cody Coppernoll of Grand Rapids; granddaughters, Madison Coppernoll of Jackson and Elyse Coppernoll of West Bloomfield; brothers, Thomas (Connie) Coppernoll and Jonathan Coppernoll of Jackson, and Gerald (Candie) Coppernoll Jr. of Holland; sister, Susan (Mark) Vincent of Holland; and cousin and best friend, Mike Webster. Tim is also survived by a large loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Coppernoll; two nephews; and grandparents.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, January 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 6 from 11:00 AM until Noon.

Tim is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Celebration of His Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12:00 Noon with Fr. Timothy MacDonald as the celebrant. Private interment will take place at Spring Arbor Cemetery.
