Sambaer, Thomas J.

Born May 4, 1946 passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Allegiance Health at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol (Coffman); three children, Jim, Lori (Todd) Howe and Julianne (Rich Langley) Crowley; 12 grandchildren, Ashly, Lindsy and Tomas Sambaer, Colin, Christopher and Chloe Wegrzyn, Jessica Howe, Melissa (Kyler) Sill and Morgan, Coley, Mallory and Mackenna Crowley. He is also survived by his three sisters, Julie (Gary) Valentine, Sherry (Stephen) Beshara and Jan (Dennis) Rockey; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his mother and father, Betty and Marcel Sambaer, and his daughters, Jennifer and Melissa Sambaer.

Tom was an avid golfer and very much enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's activities and sporting events. He retired from the IBEW Local 252 after 44 years of loyal service.

Tom is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, February 27 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM with Father Robert Pienta as the celebrant. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, February 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM.

Instead of sending flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. John Catholic Parish and Lumen Christi Catholic School.
