Thomas P. O'Dowd

Of Jackson passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Highland Home surrounded by his loving family, age 82 years. He is survived by four sons; Timothy (Deb) O'Dowd, Thomas O'Dowd, Brian (Tracy) O'Dowd and David (Wendy) O'Dowd. Eight grandchildren; Tyler, Kellie, Lindzi, Justin, Sadie, Jacob, Shane and Ryan. One great granddaughter Shayden. Brothers and sisters; Mary (Joe deceased) Reska, Patrick (Patricia) O'Dowd, Peggy Delaet, Shelia (Jim) Oatley, Jim (Jacki) O'Dowd. Numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine O'Dowd. Five brothers; Jack, William, Michael, Dennis and Edward and by his sister Eileen Holda. Tom was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Mechanical Products after 36 years of service. He enjoyed watching his kid's and grandkid's sporting events.

Services will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver officiating. Interment St. John's Cemetery.

Contributions to the Highland Home would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
