Keyes, Thomas D.
Of Jackson passed away on Friday, August 31, 2012 after a two year battle with lung cancer, age 80 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Joyce C. Keyes on June 25, 2012 and his two sons, Thomas and Robert Keyes and his great great granddaughter Kalyce Jordan. Survived by two daughters; Karen (Fred) Galicki and Kathleen Keyes (Griff Sutliff). Daughter in law, Kathy Keyes. Seven grandchildren; Melissa, Karen, Michael, Michelle, Joshua, Jason and Sherry. Eight great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren. Brothers and sister; Evelyn (Jack) Lounsbery, Robert (Barb) Keyes and Ronald (Rosie) Keyes and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was the General Manager of Allied Painting for 45 years, enjoyed Harness Racing, Casinos (Las Vegas), traveling but most importantly Tom enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Keyes is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 to 8 and Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service on Monday at 6:30 PM.
