Born March 23, 1934, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in the loving arms of his family. He is survived by the love of his life, Betty, being married for 70 years; children Thomas (Wendy) Bishop, Daniel (Karen) Bishop, Mary Ann (Paul) Krepps, and Patrick (Paula) Bishop; grandchildren Theresa (Tony) Frasca, Joseph (Emily) Bishop, Jeremiah (Alisha) Krepps, Faith (Joshua) Graves, Jacob (Rosa) Krepps, Caleb (Micah) Krepps, Elizabeth (Nathan) Simon, Carlie (Michael) Miller, Christopher Bishop, Jack Bishop, Benjamin Bishop; great-grandchildren Loretta, Nora and Vincent Frasca, Annie, James, Claire, Heidi and John Krepps, Lucy, Chip and Penny Bishop, Giana and Nico Graves, Olivia Krepps, Dallas and Sadie Simon, sister-in-law, Suzanne Bishop, and special friends, Jay and Melissa Ziemba. He was preceded in death by parents William and Margaret Bishop, sister Ann (Robert) Berry, brother Richard Bishop, brother Robert (Mary) Bishop, and precious infant son, Christopher Patrick.
Tom graduated from St. Mary's HS in 1952 and continued on to graduate from Jackson College. He worked for Consumers Energy for 34 years, retiring in 1990. Tom and Betty volunteered for Hospice for 15 years. Tom was a lifelong member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church and was an altar server when the cornerstone of the church was laid. He was a loving husband, a devoted
father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed tennis, racquetball, pickleball, golf, cards and watching sunsets at Browns Lake.
Thomas has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29 at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with visitation at 10 a.m. followed by the Mass at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church or Optimal Care Hospice.
