Cowan, Therese (Diffenderfer)

Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the age of 70 years.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Philip Faught, Angela (Noah) Gray, Bill (Beck) Cowan, Christopher Cowan; grandchildren, Raydin, Ricky, Jonathan, Bridgette, Connor, Lily, Marek, Ridge, Brin, Rastanna, and Willow; great grandchildren, Braylynn, Aubrey, Lilo, Ophelia, Mello; step grandchild, Cadence Gray; siblings, Dennis D., Linda (Diffenderfer) Flavin, Judy (Thomas) McNish and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert E. and Lenore A. (Rahrig) Diffenderfer; brothers, Mark and Robert J. Diffenderfer and our little angel Christopher John.

Therese graduated in 1972 from Northwest High School with honors, retired from the post office after many years of dedicated service and served as union steward, treasurer, and president.  She loved gardening, her family, and her faith.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel at St. John Cemetery on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM with  Fr. Tim Nelson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 6 to 8 PM.
