Theresa G. Roman (Paszkiet)

ROMAN, THERESA (PASZKIET)
of Jackson, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Robert Eder; one granddaughter, Michelle; sister-in-law, Regina Paskett; numerous nieces and nephews especially, Charlene Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney "Ziggy" in 1995. She is the last of the Andrew and Frances (Komorowska) Paskiet family: Mary Konkle, Anastasia Papiersky, Walter Paszkiet, Pearl Hanser, twins Andrew Paskett and Frances Parzych, Mike Paskett, Stella Grzesek. Theresa and Ziggy owned and operated Hanser & Roman Meat Market from 1951 to 1973 with her sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Frank Hanser. Theresa was a lifelong member of St Joseph Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society. The family would like to extend deep gratitude to the entire staff at Arbor North for providing Theresa with a rich quality of life during her two-year residency and Great Lakes Hospice for their care the past few months, in particular Mandy, Gabby and Shelley. A special Thank You to the staff at Allegiance Hospice Home for providing a calm and safe stepping stone for her final transition from this life.

The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Reverend Father James Shaver will be the celebrant. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lumen Christi High School or Allegiance Hospice Home would be appreciated.
