Greer (Bissot), Teresa Rose

of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her son, Michael J.; sister, Patricia Hinkle; brother, Daniel A. (Julie) Bissot; nieces and nephews, Christie (Kevin) Hardcastle, James (Donna) Hinkle, Michelle (Ken) Gallant, Andrew (Angela) Hinkle, Joseph (Webster) Hinkle, Daniel A. (Allison) Bissot Jr., Scott (Kori) Bissot, Casey (Beka) Bissot, Meghan (Tony) Bouman, and Kelly Wellman; and sister-in-law, Lori Greer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, John D.; son, John D; and sister, Peggy Bissot.

Teresa was a longtime active member and greeter at St. Mary's Church. She was a strong supporter of the Right to Life and volunteered at T.A. Wilson School and the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. Teresa loved her family dearly and was a faithful devout Catholic.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Tim Nelson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
