Hayes, Tamara "Tami" J.
Of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the age of 69 years. Survived by her three children, Connie Hayes, Michael Hayes, and David (Tonya) Hayes Jr.; six grandchildren, Aundrea, Patrick, Ashley (Chris), Cody, D.J. (Justin), and Danielle; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Rick Lynam; one sister, Sharon (Phil) Powaga; super best friend, Carla Hastings, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Trella Lynam.
Tami was a devoted and active member at the First Church of the Nazarene and was involved with the Heritage Girls at the church. She worked for 44 years at Mercy-Foote-Allegiance Hospital as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She also worked and volunteered at the Hot Air Jubilee, Relay For Life, and Cancer Retreats. Tami made everyones birthday and holidays extra special. Her zest for life was photography and crafts, but her family was the most important thing to her.
According to her wishes, cremation has taking place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 26 at 1:30 PM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Stout officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the First Church of the Nazarene for the Heritage Girls or Youth Projects would be appreciated.
