Age 55, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday July 11th surrounded by her family after a long battle with breast cancer. She was a very kind, caring and compassionate woman who touched the hearts of anyone that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, babysitting her grandson and scenic car rides with her fiancé Bob. She is survived by her son, Andrew Horning; grandson, Lucas Horning; fiancé Robert Young(and family); her mother, Micaela Garcia; sisters, Maria Chavez, Alma Garcia, Yolanda Lopez; brothers, Joseph Garcia, Emilio Garcia, Sergio Garcia along with many nieces and nephews. She was a parishioner of St John's Catholic Church and worked for over 30 years for Consumers Energy.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver as the Celebrant.
