Sylvia "Syl" Coller

COLLER (DOERING), SYLVIA JEAN. "SYL"

of Jackson, MI, age 57, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 14, 2011. Syl was preceded in death by her father Donald and sister Laura. She is survived by her son Jay Coller and girlfriend Bobbie; her mother Dorthy Doering; grandchildren, Zachary and Abagail Coller. She also had close friends that were always there; Dawn & Mike Townley, and Stacey Coller. Syl was employed by Pioneer Foundry for many years, and then Hardrock Drilling. She always enjoyed music and playing in the band Galaxy. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren supporting them in many activities, loved her pets, gardening, and was phenomenal in the kitchen. At her request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Bible Methodist Church, 401 Comstock, Vandercook Lake with Pastor Terry Riddle officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, May 21, 2011 from 1PM until time of services. Luncheon to follow the service.
