Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the age of 81 years.  She is survived by her son, Andrew (Jennifer) and grandson, Grayson. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Kilgallin (1976) and mother, Dorothy Kilgallin (1998).

Suzanne was born March 11, 1942 in Jackson.  She graduated Jackson High School in 1960, attended Michigan State University, and received a Bachelor of Education from Western Michigan University in 1960.  She was formerly married to Conrad Olfier.  Suzanne taught kindergarten from 1966-2008 at Jackson Public Schools.  She was a member of the Jackson Women's Club, Retired Teachers, Jackson Trippers, 100 Women, MSU Downtown Coaches Club, Jackson Education Association, Michigan Education Association, and the National Education Association.  Suzanne was an avid fan of MSU football and basketball, gardening, reading, listening to Elvis music, crocheting, needlepointing, making wreaths and door decorations and her three dogs.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.  According to her wishes, cremation will take place after the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Cascades Humane Society would be appreciated.
