Suzanne “Sue” Marie Raser

Suzanne (Sue) Marie Raser of Jackson, MI, passed away on June 9, 2024 at the age of 69. Sue is survived by her son, Jason W. Raser of Jackson, and her daughter, Sara M. Raser Palmer (Chris Carter) of Bloomington, IN; her four brother-in-law's, Roger Raser of Jackson, Ronald (MaryAnn) Raser of Jackson, Alan (Jill) Raser of Jackson, and David Raser of Manistique, MI; her sister-in-law, Carolynn Palmer of Somerset Center. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jonathan, Shyann, Carter, and Hannah Raser; and three nieces, Melanie Palmer, Dawn Raser, and Kadee Raser, and one nephew, Tim Raser.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Norman Wayne Raser, and parents, Lee and Helen Palmer of Jackson, her three siblings Karen Palmer of Jackson, Terry Palmer of Somerset Center, and Ronald Palmer of Cincinnati, OH, and two nephews, Robert Palmer of Cincinnati, and Jeremy Raser of Jackson.

Sue was born in Jackson, Michigan on March 31 1955 and lived there most of her life. Sue worked many odd jobs through the years, but one of her favorites was at the John George Home in Jackson, where she helped take care of the residents. She was known for her warm smile and kind disposition by all of those who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church located at 1508 Greenwood Avenue, Jackson, Michigan 49203.
