Passed away on Saturday, October 07, 2017 surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. Susan was born in Jackson, Michigan on May 21, 1959 to William Sr. and Audrey (Forbes) Worth. She was the sixth of eleven children. She graduated from Lumen Christi High School in 1977. She earned an Associate's Degree from Jackson Community College and an Associate's Degree in paralegal work from Lansing Community College. Susan lived in the Lansing area. She worked as a legal secretary at Johnson & Wyngaarden PC for 19 years. She had a strong work ethic, was meticulous with her responsibilities, and was a valued employee.

Susan was a kind and loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Her mother shared she could not have asked for a more wonderful daughter. She brought harm to no one, was generous with her time and attention, and was a loyal friend. Family was very important to her. She loved to spend time with her nieces and nephews and supported them in their various sports, activities, and talents. She was proud to share the same birthday as her Uncle Walt and niece, Katherine. The Ritter Family nicknamed her "Laffy Taffy", which was fitting given the fact she was extremely ticklish and loved a good laugh.

She had multiple skills and hobbies. She enjoyed downhill skiing, but once she discovered golf, that became her game. She was always honest about her score, even when it was not a favorable one. She was on several golf leagues and attended the Buick Open many times. She had the patience and ability to figure out how to hook up any electronic equipment. She had been a member of the Jaycees and was an officer for her condo association. She loved to tailgate at Michigan State University home football games, but was true blue in her heart. She would always cheer for the University of Michigan Wolverines, even when she had to do it quietly at Spartan Stadium. Susan loved the warm sunshine and walking the beaches of Ft. Myers Beach and Siesta Key, Florida. In addition to her other hobbies she enjoyed reading and computer games. She treasured time with friends.

Her time on earth was too short and she will be greatly missed. She found peace and comfort in her Lord and Savior. We would like to thank family, friends, and co-workers for their prayers, help, and support during this difficult time.

Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo and Linna Worth, Aloyisious and Agnes Forbes, and her father, William A. Sr. She is survived by her mother, Audrey, and siblings William A. Jr. (Kathleen), Thomas (Pam), Mary, Cynthia, Kathleen (Kathleen), Amy, Caroline (Thomas) Wacker, James (Monique), Patricia (Joseph) Ritter, John, and many nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Susan's life will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. The Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM. A visitation will also take place at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM.
