Of Jackson passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 26, 2015 age 57 years. Survived by her husband Chris, children Robert (Jaime) Valdez, Joshua Hale and Olivia Hale, grandchildren Paiton, Robbie and Matthew Valdez, parents Darwin and Janice Watts, step daugthers, Lindsay (Ryan) Hargreaves and Courtney Maino Guynn, siblings Dale Watts, Dar (Cindy) Watts, Jeff (Randi) Watts, Scott (Lynn) Watts and Christine (Ken) Zebarah.

Susan was the Assistant Residency Coordinator for the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. She was especially devoted to her children and grandchildren.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Dinner will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jeffrey Smerage and Nurse Practitioner Kelly Sheu at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center for the love and care that they provided to Susan.

Instead of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center or to the American Cancer Society.
