Gleeson (Dotterweich), Susan Mary

of Jackson, MI loving and devoted wife of Roger Gleeson passed peacefully from this life on April 18, 2020. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 27, 1932 to William and Marion Dotterweich who predecease her. Susan lived a full and joyful life all while helping others as a nurse, mother, grandmother, friend and devout Catholic. She will be remembered as being funny, witty, stylish and the life of the party. She is survived by her husband of 65 years and the light of her life Roger; two brothers William and Andrew; eight children (Christopher, Catherine (Reynolds), Timothy, David, Patrick, Matthew, Joanna (Plate), Sarah (Ermatinger)) and their spouses; daughter-in-law B. Lynn; 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She joins her son Michael, her grandchildren Michael and Madeline, and her sister Jean (Noel) in Heaven.

The family is grateful to Brightside Assisted Living and Elara Caring Hospice for the compassionate care they provided to her. Instead of flowers contributions to Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church or Lumen Christi High School would be appreciated. A Funeral Mass and celebration of her remarkable life will be held at a later time.
