Stella Ratchford (Pec)

RATCHFORD (PEC), STELLA

of Jackson, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home age 83 years. Survived by her three sons; Tom Jr. of Jackson, Michael of New York City, and Philip of Jackson. Two grandchildren; Sydnee and Nicholas. One brother, Anthony Pec. Several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Phyllis Moss and Sister Marie Pauline. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas J. Ratchford and her daughter Ann Lacinski.

Stella was a member of the PLAV Woman's Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteer work and was a very active member of the St. Joseph Church and School Community. The greatest joys in Stella's life were her grandchildren, baking, and cooking.

Mrs. Ratchford is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by The Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Scripture Service at 7 PM.
