Chmielewski, Stella
of Leslie, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the age of 94 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Leo. Stella is survived by two children, Dr. Norman (Claudia) Chmielewski and Dr. Irene Gaide; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Adamczyk. Stella was a farmer most of her life and worked for Leslie Township for many years serving in several different capacities. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. Stella is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Robert Pienta will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
