Wrozek, Stanley F.
of Lake Le Ann, passed away at his home under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice on Monday, August 17, 2009 at the age of 96 years. Stanley is survived by seven children, Larry Wrozek, Connie (Duane) Persing, Rickie (Anne Marie) Wrozek, James (Terry) Wrozek, Terry (Angela) Wrozek, Gary (Melissa) Wrozek, John Wrozek; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Nellie Wendorf, Maxine Sebring, Emma Jean Blosser; brother-in-law, Dale Wendorf; numerous nieces and nephews. Stanley was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Geraldine, great grandson Kyle Wrozek, three sisters, Mary Wrozek, Sophie Varner and Frances Wrozek; one brother, Andrew Wrozek. Stanley was an Army Veteran of WWII stationed on the island of Siapan as an anti-aircraft gunner and was retired from Walker Mfg. after 27 years of service. Stanley was born and raised in "Frog Town". He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed nature and watching sporting events. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church on Friday at 12:00 noon, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Timothy Wrozek will be the celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home today from 2–8 PM and on Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 6:00 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Rita Catholic Church.
