Jeziorski, Sigmund W. "Ziggy"
of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the age of 84 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, MaryAnn. He is survived by four children, Susan (Mark) Wisby, Michael (Celeste) Jeziorski, Jerry (Joanne) Jeziorski, Jim (Sue Ann) Jeziorski; five grandchildren, Drew, Luke, Jason, Justin and Genevieve; five step-grandchildren, Jill, Jamie, Courtney, J.J. and Kyle; four step-great grandchildren, Adrian, Isabelle, Finian and Sophia.
Ziggy was a veteran of the Korean War and was retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He was a very devoted husband, loving father and a great role model for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling throughout Michigan with his family.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:30 AM with Father Robert Pienta as the celebrant.
