Miller, Shirley M.

Of Jackson, passed away at home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Hospice on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the age of 73 years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Miller Sr.; two brothers; and one sister.  She is survived her children, Robert (Catherine) Miller Jr., Tim (Emily) Miller, Sherry Maule, Alva (Megan) Miller, and Christine (James) Wastakiewicz; fourteen grandchildren; elven great-grandchildren with one on the way; three brothers, James Davenport, Ronnie March, and Alva March II; one sister, Belva Simpkin; several nieces and nephews; and her three dogs and three cats.

Shirley retired from John Ganton Countryside Care Center after 17 years of service.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Rev. Dr. Amalorpavanathan Rayapillai, SdC officiating.  A private interment will be held at St. John Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Thursday, March 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Henry Ford Hospice.
