Schweda (Boyce), Shelby D.

of Pleasant Lake, passed away at Allegiance Health on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the age of 27 years. She is survived by her husband, Matt Schweda; one daughter, Harper; her father, Jim Boyce (Jo Ellen Blaugh); mother, Becky Boyce (Spencer Collins); sister, Andrea Boyce; grandparents, John and JoAnne Conway; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Gary & Julie Schweda; three sisters-in-law, Erin Schweda, Diane Schweda (Cody Wittman); Katie (Boris) Kayhan; several aunts, uncles, cousins & special friends. Preceded in death by her brother, Colby Lee Boyce; and paternal grandparents Homer and Janet Boyce. She had a passion for animals and enjoyed softball, hunting, fishing and cooking, and she especially enjoyed her family.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15 at 9:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church; 120 E. Wesley Street. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Phillip Schweda will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, June 14 from 1-3 and 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for her daughter, Harper's Scholarship Fund in care of Andrea Boyce.
