Kolb (Nicka), Sharon Kay
Of Brooklyn passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the age of 71 years. Survived by her husband of 23 years, Peter Kolb Jr; children, Tana M. Fryt and Aaron C. Fryt; grandchildren, Ryan, Chandler, Trevor, Cody, Cory, Courtney, Elizabeth, and Kellie; numerous great grandchildren; and brother, Dennis (Vonnie) Nicka. Preceded in death by her son, Gerald Fryt Jr. and her parents, Carl and Edna Nicka.
Sharon was a Registered Nurse for Foote Hospital, Parker, O'Rourke, and Jones, and the Center for Family Health. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking with the grandkids. Sharon loved her dogs, Karmella "Booboo" and Kasie. She was family oriented - the most important thing in her life was her family. She also loved Magglio Ordonez formerly of the Detroit Tigers.
Sharon is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Toby Teague officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Contributions to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
