Fleming (Fransted), Shanna Betsy

Born in Jackson Michigan on October 29th, 1937, died on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.  She was the daughter of Robert L Fransted and Bessie Irene (Murphy) Fransted (both deceased).  Shanna was the sister of Sandra Sue Craft and mother of Amy Theresa Fleming, Kelly Ann Fleming (deceased) and James Brian Fleming married to Anne Delaney Fleming; Grandmother to Ryan Trombley, Charles Trombley (Karysa), Emily Trombley Hardy (William), Evan Trombley, Casey Fleming-Hawkins (Aaron), Jay Fleming (Catherine), John Fleming, and Jenna Brackett Odehnal (Joseph).  Great Grandmother to Madeline, Clara, Betsy, Edison, Harper, Cecilia, Benjamin and Henry.

Shanna graduated from Jackson High School. Life time Jackson resident, she was always active in her community, with her friends and in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all of whom were her favorite. Shanna loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors. She was a real estate agent in Jackson for many years and feisty to the end.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Friday, December 26 from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.

Memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (Breakthrough T1D).
