It is with great sadness that we have to share the passing of Shane Robert McKay, born April 18, 1994. Shane unexpectedly gained his wings at the age of 26 on April 2, 2021. Shane was a true friend and loved by many. He had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold. Shane was an amazing father of two, with his third child on the way. For anyone who had the honor of having Shane as part of your life, it was evident that he deeply cherished his family and loved ones. Shane loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping and grilling.

Most of all he cherished and loved every moment spent with his daughters, Hope who is 5 and Abbie who is 2. Shane is going to be deeply missed by so many. Shane is survived by his daughters, Hope and Abbie McKay; unborn baby McKay; his parents, Jennifer VanLake and Jeremy McKay, grandmother Lucinda Casey; brothers, Jared McKay, Nicholas Killingsworth, and Ta'mauri Cooper; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him unconditionally.

A Celebration of Life will be at noon April 14, 2021 at Bright Hope Bible Church in Potterville, MI
