LINDEN, SCOTT
Age 68, passed away in his home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 6:30 a.m. He was born on May 25, 1945, graduated from Jackson High School in 1963, an Air Force veteran('63-'67), small business owner, a Vandercook Lake High School board member, Lions Club member, as well as active in the community and recreational sports in the Jackson Area.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years Kay Linden, his sister Ann Wolf, his son Troy (Monica) Linden, his daughter Tricia (David) Martin, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Victor E. Linden and Alien Linden, his father-in-law Clayton McNaughton, and his brother John Linden. Scott was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Scott always considered himself blessed with the incredible love and friendship from his family and dear friends. Scott led a life of which one cannot only be proud of, but also emulate. His honesty and integrity were above reproach and set the standards for those to follow.
A celebration of his life service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Brookside United Methodist Church, 4000 Francis St. Friends may come from 10:00 until the service begins. Scott will be laid to rest following the service at Roseland Memorial Gardens, 3744 Brooklyn Rd. Following his being laid to rest there will be a luncheon at Brookside UMC for friends and family to gather and share memories.
