Sandra S. Swistak

SWISTAK, SANDRA S.- Of Jackson, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Jackson and Oaklawn on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at the age of 69 years. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Leonard; five children, Cathy Swistak, Mike (Cindy) Swistak, Sharon (Carl) Werner, John (Heather) Swistak, Stacy Swistak; seven grandchildren, Charlie and Molly Sears, Aimee, Lynne and Emily Werner, Nicole and Michael Swistak. Sandra was a devout Christian who dedicated her life to raising her family. She was employed by Gentiva Home Health Care for 20 years. She also enjoyed reading and traveling. Sandra is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. The Reverend James Shaver officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
