SOPER, SANDRA MARIE
Of Jackson passed away peacefully at RidgeCrest Health Center on Saturday, August 3, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Helen (Walkowski) Soper. She is survived by her first cousins, Gary (Janie) Chapel, DeEtte Hilderbrandt, and Rob Walkowski, other cousins and loyal friends.
She enjoyed spending time collecting stamps and coins, doing word puzzles, playing bingo and cards, computer games, traveling when able and she was an avid Detroit TIGERS fan. She will be missed by many. Sandy attended St. Mary High (Class of 1960) and Jackson Business University. She was a lifelong member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
Contributions to Queen's Church would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:30 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.
