Konieczka (Foor), Sandra L.

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the age of 81. She was born August 17, 1942 to Clarence & Emma (Kuhl) Foor, both who preceded her in death as well as her brother Irving Foor. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, William B Konieczka Jr, daughter Lisa (Konieczka) Dickinson, son Brian (Monica) Konieczka of Cadillac, MI, Granddaughter Jessica Bowersox of Ft Myers, FL, Rachel (Dyllin) Patrick of Schoolcraft, Mi, Kirsten (Sean) Wozniak of Plymouth, MI, great-grand children Liam Wozniak, Isla Patrick, sister-in-law Sheryl Foor as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sandra's religious faith was very strong and important to her and gave her comfort throughout her life. She was very active in the St. Mary Star of the Sea RCIA program for many years as well as other church related activities. Sandra worked at Sears for over 30 years in various departments including Decorator Central and Installation. After retiring from Sears she began working at The Catholic Shoppe which became a passion for her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Alaska, Holy Land, Egypt Greece, Italy, China, Germany and Poland as well as many of the National Parks here in the US.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson officiating.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday, July 20 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home, 2150 Kingsbrooke Drive, Jackson 49202 would be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home for excellent and loving care given to Sandra in her final moments.
