Avery, (Curry) Sandra Kathryn
of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the age of 63 years. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Chuck; one son, Shawn (Heather) Avery; one daughter, Sara Avery; step son, Steven Avery; five grandchildren, Shawn Jr., Jaycob, Madison, Raegan and Rylie Avery; one great granddaughter, Miya Avery; brothers and sisters, Dennis (Deborah) Curry, Mary Sue (Thomas) Simonsen, Stephen Curry, Richard (Sandra) Curry, Anne (Walter) Guise and Elaine Vennix. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Sandra enjoyed being a mother and grandmother and was the "glue" that held her family together. Mrs. Avery is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant at the Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 5:30 PM.In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family for their needs and wishes would be appreciated.Desnoyer Funeral Home--Family owned for 122 years
