• Beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, Ryvan John Fedore was born on August 18th, 1957 and left his loving family too soon on June 20th, 2021 at the age of 63.
    He was preceded in death by his father William J Fedore, mother Nancy R (Sarata) Fedore. Survived by his two sons, Griffin Fedore and Drew Fedore of Jackson, sister Mary Fedore, niece Shannon Owen (Scott Rettberg) of Los Angeles, nephews Finn Rettberg and William Rettberg of Los Angeles, and nephews Blake Blodgett and Brett Blodgett of Parma.
    Ryvan enjoyed music, telling stories, and talking sports.  He was an avid golfer most of his life, most recently hitting the links with his two sons.  Ryvan graduated from Hanover Horton Schools in 1975.  He was so proud that his sons were attending his alma mater.  There was so much pride in his face seeing them in Comet uniforms when they played football and baseball.  He spent 10 years watching the boys play travel hockey with the Jackson Area Hockey Association.  Ryvan was always a proud dad in the stands.  Ryvan lived for and through his boys "Dad's best buds".  The lesson of putting your children first was learned from his parents and he honored them by carry on that tradition.  He was proud of their accomplishments, excited by their adventures and understanding of their independence. " Not quite sure if my children learned as much about life from me...as I learned from them. Either way, It is a beautiful thing." words from Ryvan.
    At the time of his death, Ryvan was working as a Customer Service Representative at MARS.  Ry loved his job and coworkers for more than 40 years.

    According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Father Tim Nelson officiating.

    The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, June 28 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday at St. Mary's from 1:00 to 2:00 PM

    Ryvan's ashes will be laid to rest with his parents in the Horton Cemetery, at a private interment.
