O'CONNELL (HEYSER), RUTH
Of Jackson passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 age 94 years. Survived by her daughter Sandra Cornell. 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Kent O'Connell, her daughter Suzanne Cooper (O'Connell), granddaughter Karen Cooper and grandson Thomas Cooper. Mrs. O'Connell was a member of Queen of the Miraculous Medal Marion Circle, Past Worthy Adviser of the Rainbow Girls, Past President of Xyphian Sorority. She was a member of the Elks Auxiliary, the Amaranth Club and the Clark Equipment Retirees Club. Mrs. O'Connell is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2009 11:00 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. The Rev. Jeff Poll officiating.
Contributions to Queen's Church or to the Allegiance Hospice Home would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and at the Church Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Amaranth Club Rosary Monday 3:00 PM. Vigil Service Monday 7:00 PM, both at the funeral home.
