Of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home under the loving care of her family and Southern Care Hospice Monday, October 26, 2015 at the age of 83. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Edward J. "EJ" Faley Sr. Survived by her three daughters, Kathleen (Lee) Parks, Patricia Kelley and Cynthia Shuberg and fiance Ernie Arno; three sons, John Faley, Edward Faley Jr. and Michael Faley; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Donna Vance and brother Donald (Mary Lou) Woodring and special friend Lenie Gregory. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Mrs. Faley is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 30 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Father Kurian Kollapallil will be the celebrant at the Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, October 29 from 2–4 and 6–8 PM.
