Cash, Ruth Jean
left this world peacefully on January 26th, 2012. Ruth was born in Jackson on June 22nd, 1926 to Charles and Claribel Smith. She was the fourth of eight children. Ruth worked at Commonwealth Associates for 30 years. As a faithful Christian she attended St. Mary's Catholic Church where she was an officer of the Catholic Daughters and was a member of the Altar Society and Marion Circle. In her later years Ruth enjoyed being a member of the Arbor North Choir where she lived. Ruth has joined her late husband, Thomas Cash Sr., and son Patrick in the kingdom of heaven. She is survived by her daughter Peggy, son Tom, daughter-in-law Sara, grandchildren Bebe, Anna, Bryan, and Alex, and great granddaughter, Aeryn. She also leaves behind her sisters Dorothy and Clara, her cousins Francis and Delores, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Cash is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father Timothy MacDonald will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

Ruth's family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary service at 3 PM.
