Corravo (Richardson), Ruby "Boots"

of Jackson, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Richardson; brothers, William "Bill" (Barbara) Richardson and Delbert "Bud" Richardson; sisters, Eunice Richardson, Joyce (Bill) Grier, Lorraine (Ted) Wakevainen; the father of her children, Raymond Sr.; brothers-in-law, Russ (Dorothy) Corravo and Anthony (Chris) Corravo; and sister-in-law, Angie Arker. She is survived by her two sons, Raymond and David (Kari); six wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Allyson, Sara, Nicholas, Andrew, and Christopher Corravo; sister-in-law, Mona Richardson; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Hailey and one on the way (Rhett); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1952. Ruby retired from St. John's Elementary School where she worked in the office for many years. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, sewing, spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Victorian Villa Care Home where she spent the last few years for their wonderful care.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Victorian Villa Care Home or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
