Ross E. Ebbinghaus

Ebbinghaus, Ross E.

Born on October 25, 1923 in Muncie, Indiana and passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 in the loving care of his family, friends and staff of the Jackson County Medical Care Facility.

He is survived by his daughter Yvonne Clark; one granddaughter Trisa; two great-grandchildren Madison and Grant. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Virginia and son, Daniel; two brothers and one sister.

Ross was a WWII Army Veteran, member of the American Legion in Jackson and the Elks Lodge #113. He worked for Monarch Marking for many years and then J. C. Penney in Traverse City. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Detroit Tigers & Lions, exercising at the Boos Center and cookouts at the lake with friends.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and an American Legion Service will be on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Brooklyn, Michigan at 2:00 PM.

Dad was truly a wonderful man who was loved by many. "You will be greatly missed by your daughter, I Love You dad."
